KEEP HEALTHY YOURSELF WHILE IN ISOLATION OR QUARANTINE

In quarantine period you spent much of your time in your home. You must follow healthy living advice such as eating a healthy diet, take adequate sleep, staying hydrated, managing stress and exercise daily are the best recommendation for staying healthy in quarantine or isolation period.

  1. Eat balanced diet- 

You must add fresh vegetables, fruits and proteins in your diet. This is the best way to get all the nutrients that are needed for good and healthy immune system. Thus, it is important to pay more attention on diet that will balances our body’s energy. Whenever you eat just have a seat because it is difficult to aware of how much your if you eat on the go. By doing physical activity your body and mind both gets benefits. Atleast 30 minutes of exercise is okay for a healthy man. In isolation/quarantine period you must follow-

 

  • Plan well for your physical activity for every day. 
  • Do activities like dancing, singing and cleaning the house.
  • If possible, join the online classes.

 

 

 

  • Get enough sleep-

 

Sleep will affect mind and health. If you didn’t take adequate sleep your mind and physical health will affect badly. Atleast 7 hours of sleep is necessary for an adult person. 

Tips to improve your sleep-

 

  • Maintain a regular sleep plan.
  • Don’t smoke and if you take alcohol then limit its consumption.
  • Caffeine is bad for sleep if we take it at sleep hours.
  • Exercise regularly.
  • Disconnect from electronic gadgets before going to bed.
  • For relaxation try meditation.
